Want to become a Web celebrity?
***UPDATE 3.16.2009*** Apparently, the link included in the survey (after the jump) doesn’t collect your email address. Not super convenient. So, if you have any interest in this, please fill out said survey AND email me at my McCann address (david.morrissey at mccann dot com). Cheers.
My agency is looking to recruit people for some Internet videos for one of our clients. If you’re interested, read more after the jump.Calling all Internet users.
Do you use the Web to shop? Do you manage your bank account online? Track investments? Pay bills? Sell things on eBay? Or, do you manage your entire life online? And the final question: Do you worry about having your information or identity stolen?
If you answered yes to any of these questions (especially the last one), we want to tell your story. Every day, hundreds of thousands of dollars are lost due to stolen identities online. And it costs consumers an average of $2000 to get their credit and identities restored-money a lot of people don’t have these days. Whether you’ve been a victim or not, you can help educate others of the risks and dangers facing all of us.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be telling the stories and experiences of real people who use the Internet. Not just fraud victims, but real people who don’t have time to learn about all of the risks online.
What can you do to help? Just answer a few simple questions about your online activities. What else can you do? Perhaps you can share this with your friends on the Web, but please be selective to avoid the spam-effect.
Thanks for taking the time to answer the questionnaire. We will be in touch shortly. Or, if you have a question about this consumer education program, please feel free to call me or the program manager at McCann Erickson in Salt Lake City.
Thanks
