Making sense of the new Utah Liquor Laws

So, wait… private clubs are going away right? What about that awful state-government-ID-scanning-fiasco? It’s a lot to keep track of. Luckily, the City Weekly has put together a handy guide on the wackiness of all the new Utah liquor laws.

This is what it sounds like to live with Willa the dog.

Well, actually, this is just a small sampling. Willa’s a pretty vocal/audible lady-dog. At any rate, here’s her bay. Also note her incredible balance. She’s considering trying out for the varsity gymnastics team this year.

More great Salt Lake City summer concerts: Old 97s, Cowboy Junkies, Son Volt, Alejandro Escovedo + more

The summer concert lineup in Salt Lake City continues to get better and better.

Snowbird began announcing its summer plans, including the Mountain Music Festival, July 8-12. It features the like of the Old 97s, Cowboy Junkies and Son Volt. Full lineup here.

A new take on how social networking will shape the workplace demands of (young) Gen Ys and millenials

Really interesting read over at the Wall Street Journal Blogs today. Gary Hamel writes about “The Facebook Generation” and how it will alter traditional workplace politics and align them with Web politics. I particularly liked items #1, 2, 8 and 10. (And I’d be happy to see some of those ideas incorporated at my office!)
