Charlene Li (not pictured), of Altimeter Group, posted a very interesting presentation last week, examining what lies ahead for the near future of social networking.

Oddly, Li doesn’t once mention anything about flux capacitors, Doloreans or hover boards.

One item of interest though—and long over due—is the idea of universal login and authentication for all of your networks. Will Facebook stick to its “us against the world” strategy that Li mentions?
