Sigh, No more Silver Jews

Nashville Cream (and also broadcast by Largehearted Boy) reports that David Berman and his band the Silver Jews have called it quits.
Damned shame. But I don’t think this is much of a surprise to anyone, is it?

Willa the dog eats glasses (again)

Maybe Willa loves the taste of expensive Italian plastic frames. Perhaps she just prefers me in contact lenses. Whatever her reasoning, Willa has now destroyed two pairs of my glasses in four months.
Oh, there was yelling this AM.
If you need me, I’ll be at Lens Crafters, buying Willa’s next dog treat.
